Formerly the gamekeeper’s house of the estate, this characterful residence watched over the woods and paths around it for decades. Fully renovated in 2026, it now welcomes you in a green haven where birdsong replaces the noise of the world. Just steps from Château du Deffay and its pond, the Gîte du Poteau Blanc offers the privacy and independence of a home just for you, in a natural and protected setting, between Grande Brière, La Baule, and Nantes.
The Cottage
Designed to welcome 4 to 6 guests, the Gîte du Poteau Blanc combines the authentic charm of a former forester's house with all the comfort you might expect.
Ground floor
A bright and beautiful living area — lounge, dining room and fully equipped kitchen — invites you to gather around a meal or a crackling fire after a day of exploration. A full bathroom completes this living space.
Upstairs
Two comfortable double bedrooms, each sleeping two, offer peace and serenity overlooking the forest.
